We are collecting whole, carved, and unpainted pumpkins all November and December to feed to our pigs, chickens and cattle. Drop off will be at Up North Heritage Farm. Look for the pallet and sign by the road and place pumpkins on the ground near the sign that says pumpkin drop here. We will take any pumpkins, gourds, apples, straw, or nuts you would like to share.
Order meat on our website for Thursday local delivery in November and we will pick up your pumpkins right from your house! Just let us know in the order comments and leave pumpkins out to grab easily. Plan to drop off pumpkins? Order some meat online prior and we will get it packed up for pick up. Orders will be in the cooler in the driveway by the house, pumpkins go to the west of the house past the hay bales.
Make this a community event and work on trying to collect for your whole neighborhood if you plan to drop off yourself. You would be surprised to see how many pumpkins you can fit in your car, van or truck! Gather with your child's club or school group and drop off on the farm.
Pumpkin drop off is open at any time. Please do not wander our farm. This is a working farm with hazards such as electric fencing and we do not want anyone hurt. We have been getting questions about coming to the farm to actually throw the pumpkins to the pigs. We 100% always accommodate our Up North Meat Club Members to make this happen, learn about our meat club HERE. We do our best to accommodate our pick up customers when possible depending on time and day. Due to the high number of request we cannot accommodate throwing pumpkins to pigs as we have to walk you back to our animals, they are not just off the road. This takes up a lot of time and we are busy with working the farm, other jobs and children activities. We appreciate you dropping pumpkins and keeping everyone safe on our working farm.
