We will be offering our whole mangalitsa pigs for sale for a processing date of May 21, 2024.The price is $6 per pound hanging weight, which should AVERAGE around 250  lb. We have processing dates at RRR processing and will take the pigs there for you. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay for processing fees and determine the cuts they would like. Processing is approximately $200+ additional pricing for sausage links and cured products. *Processing prices change frequently

There is a $200.00 non-refundable deposit fee upon reservation with us that will count towards your total. Your credit card will be charged by us when hanging weight is determined for the additional price. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay the processor for their fees when you pick up your products; please check with them to confirm pricing!  

Mangalitsa pork is the most delicious pork, but it is a lard breed, so please note you will be getting lard back.  We suggest requesting back lard and bones when doing cut sheet.

An AVERAGE pig will yield approximately the following:

  • 17 lbs of pork chops
  • 6-8 collar steaks or 2 (3 lb) "coppas."
  • 20 lb of bacon
  • 28 lb of either roasts or hams (including bones)
  • 4 lb of ribs
  • 40 lb of lard (including both leaf lard, back fat, or trimmed fat. This can be rendered for baking/cooking or cured into lard at home)
  • 20 lb of sausage
  • Jowls (Bacon)
  • Hocks
  • Bones can be requested to be returned and used for bone broth and stock

Ingredients

Mangalitsa Pork raised outside on forage and non-gmo barley. Always Soy-Free, Corn-Free and non-GMO
