Our whole pasture raised chicken makes a perfect delicious dinner. If you prefer a specific size chicken (large or small, 3.5 or 5.5 lbs) please specify in the comment section when you order. Whole chickens have necks attached. Average weight is 3.5 lbs.
Our chicken is a heritage breed raised on pasture and is not like store bought, which is usually injected with a salt solution. We recommend letting our chicken sit in the refrigerator at least 48 hours prior to cooking. It can benefit from brining in a salt water in the refrigerator while it defrosts for 24-48 hours.
